DEV Labs 2018. Online conference for Java developers. March, 3rd

Opening a new season with a Java event has already become a tradition. This is the ninth conference of the series devoted to this language, and this time we decided to slightly change our usual format. In the DEV Labs 2018 program, we tried to focus on prototyping, so to speak, on the fly. We will write, analyze and optimize and look at the result from different angles. We will not disregard the materiel too.

Spring 5 Functional & Reactive Framework. Open the program will be Oleg Yushchenko. Consider the new features of Spring 5 and create a small demo project called Samurai.


Java Profiling: Search for performance bottlenecks in Java programs . Together with Vladimir Sonkin we will be engaged in optimization of our programs. Consider profiling in VisualVM, the JMH framework, and the creation of aspects in Spring to measure performance.

Prototyping at the speed of light: we write microservice on the latest technologies. Part 1. The presentation of Vyacheslav Lapin will consist of two parts. In the first part of the report we will review the entire new technological line and see that of all this diversity, you can quickly start using in the project.
