It so happened that once there was a need to have data on all phone calls in one organization, where Avaya CM 5.0 was used for communication (and later 6.0), now these versions are dinosaurs from the past, but this is all not important. The important thing is that back in 2010 (if I’m not mistaken), a program was written on my lap that collected data about calls and recorded them in MySQL. The server script was then written in Perl, and the web-muzzle for all this worked on a samopisny PHP engine. I am now very ashamed of all this and I do not want to publicly shame in laying out the source code, but this is what I want.

After many years, I want to do something necessary for people, I want to pay tribute to the Open Source community, whose products we all always use one way or another. But for the implementation of the task I need your help, without which nothing will happen.

Tasks:

• Write a universal collector for data collection from PBX (TCP / IP and COM)
• Download presets to quickly connect to supported PBXs.
• Write a web interface for working with the tariffifier (there are a lot of options for what to do, but there will definitely be a full-fledged RestAPI).
• Plus, a lot of plans, but all as implementation ...

And now it’s important, what is required of you , I need that everyone who serves any PBXs can send a dump of SMDR or CDR data, indicate the PBX model, software version and method of connecting to the PBX to get the necessary data. If there are any features of settings or unusual pinout of cables, then write about it too. All your data will be used to write presets and compile detailed instructions for connecting the corresponding model to the PBX.

Express your opinion on this idea, maybe I thought it all for nothing, maybe it is worth it now to abandon this idea. In any case, all your reasoning is important to me.

TL; DR

It seemed to me that such a project on Habré had not been around for a long time, I would like to somehow please the people and at the same time make free, convenient and useful software. But I can’t promise to do everything to everyone as quickly as possible, I still have a lot of questions that will have to be answered in the course of the action and, perhaps, (as is usually the case with me) I will have to redo many things as I go, so I ask you to be patient, I promise to release the worker product, but not without your help.
