"Guessing on the Cards": Innopolis University's geo-information hackathon

The hackathon will take place on March 3-4 at the University of Innopolis, whose employees create a cloudy 4D platform for promoting geo-information products and services. Applications are accepted until March 2.




Hackathon participants will develop projects in 5 areas:

• geomarketing - assessment of the attractiveness of territories;
• Urban Analytics - urban development;
• navigation and maps - solutions for logistics, entertainment and tourism;
• monitoring and coordination of actions in emergency situations;
• processing of remote sensing data using machine learning technologies.

Mentors of the hackathon will be the representatives of the leading developers of geo-information services in Russia: ScanEx, Geoscan, Racurs, Roskartografiya, SkolTech. Presentations will be made by industry experts and professors of Innopolis University in the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, geomarketing, remote sensing of the Earth.

The jury will evaluate each project for novelty, market demand and performance of the prototype. The winner of the hackathon will receive 100,000 rubles. According to the results of voting, the jury will offer one team cooperation with Innopolis University:

• enter the staff of the Center for Geographic Information Systems;
• integrate your own project into the cloud 4D geo-information platform.
