SAP buys Pilot Software

To expand the portfolio of analytical programs, SAP buys Pilot Software, a company that develops software for strategic management. The giant’s plans include integrating PilotWorks (the main product of the acquired company) into the business software package that comes with the NetWeaver platform. The commercial side of the transaction has not been disclosed.
