From March 1, 2018, the
Certification Authority / Browser Forum (CA / B Forum) introduces new requirements for all
Certificate Authorities : the maximum validity of all types of SSL certificates should not exceed 825 days (27 months).
The decision was taken at a

These measures will be aimed at improving the level of security when checking organizations and domains. All Certification Centers must follow a new industry standard.

Following the new requirements, from February 26, 2018, GlobalSign will stop issuing 3-year trusted SSL certificates. From this date, SSL certificates can be issued with a
maximum validity of 2 years .
