Video recordings of speeches from the lecture day on the gaming industry at VSBI
In December last year, the HSE Graduate School of Business Informatics held a lecture day in the gaming industry. At the event, American game-designer Richard "Levelord" Gray, director of the product department of Rocket Jump Igor Soloviev, game producer Sergey Gimelreich, game marketer Sergey Zykov, founders of the club of "42 "gamers Ivan Nefedyev and Miroslava Bronnikova shared their experiences with the guests. The first was the legendary Richard "Levelord" Gray , who worked on the design levels of such games as Doom, Blood, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Sin, Heavy Metal: FAKK, Star Trek: Elite Force II, American McGee's Alice and many others.

Richard told when and by whom the first Easter egg was invented, about how he got into game dev and how he worked on the first levels for Doom. And the final lecture was the Gamification, about which Ivan Nefediev and Miroslav Bronnikov were told . Flight miles, platinum cards and “collect-forty-stickers-and-get-set-knives” have already become quite commonplace. Few people think that these and other marketing moves use the principles of game design. From the lecture you will learn how games and laws that work in games change our lives.
