Today IT is one of the fastest growing and sought-after industries with a constantly changing landscape. Demand on the labor market in this area has long exceeded supply, and along with this, young professionals are often difficult to adapt to the realities of modern companies with a good academic background behind them. It turns out that today the most effective IT education should qualitatively balance between the academic part and the experience of practical companies with real successful cases. Only this guarantees quick adaptation and efficiency of the young specialist in the market. Tired of writing code? Want others to do this? Welcome under cat.

The manager is the “glue” for the team. However, in today's reality this is not enough, in large projects it is very risky to hope for the efforts of one person. In addition to achieving business goals, the task of a modern manager is to create a “glue factory”, which not only continuously produces “glue”, but also deals with self-diagnostics and self-repair. The industry needs specialists who understand all the stages of software development and help break down barriers in communication between technical specialists and business. Such people are extremely few. Due to the shortage, companies enter into tough competition and arrange a real bounty hunt.

Together with the MAI, we tried to prepare a balanced program for training specialists in software development processes, although I am sure that graduates will be in demand in many engineering areas.

In addition to technical and managerial disciplines, we paid special attention to psychology - professional psychologists will give lectures and conduct both interesting trainings and business games. Here are some topics to be covered:

• managing emotions, emotional burnout;
• conflict resolution in the project team;
• team building;
• main barriers in the communication process;
• methods of psychological influence;
• manipulations and ways to protect against them.

During training, the future master will receive knowledge in the three most sought-after areas:

• process management;
• product management;
• analytics.

Thus, the graduate has the opportunity to adjust their future profession, not concentrating only on the issues of the development process. A future master can easily cope with the work of a product manager or product analyst.
