The next ethical hacking contest “Defense in Defense 2017”

Future information security specialists need to constantly increase their new knowledge and experience, and the Echelon group of companies provides this opportunity to young professionals by organizing the 2017 Defense inline competition.

The competition is traditionally held among students and graduate students of leading universities in Russia and CIS countries. This year, bidders are offered two tasks: testing the security of the IT infrastructure (penetration test) and code security auditing. Those participants who discover the most vulnerabilities will win, collect all the tokens and prepare the most detailed report with detailed recommendations on how to fix the vulnerabilities.

All participants in the competition for the assignment provided complex "Scanner-VS" , designed to test the security of information systems, and for the assignment of a code security audit, participants will be given access to a static code analyzer AppChecker .

Prize-winners of the competition will be awarded with useful prizes, among which are: electronic readers and certificates for passing free training in information security at the Echelon Training Center .

Registration for the competition is open from December 26, 2017 until February 1, 2018. To participate in the “Defense in Defense - 2017” competition, the following information should be sent to the email address oborona@npo-echelon.ru in any form:

• Name of the participant;
• the name of the institution;
• Full name of the supervisor (optional).

The competition is held from February 1 to March 1, 2018.
