Hi Habr! We allowed ourselves to publish a post that is not about IT. And the thing is.
A few days ago we received a letter from a client (Vanechka charitable organization), which said that he had accumulated debt and had no money to pay for services and it was not clear exactly when they would be. Having a little communicated with the founders of the organization, we decided to cancel the debt.

But we wanted to somehow help the project, the New Year after all. As a result, a simple idea was born, which we hope will become a tradition: every year, 1-2 weeks before the new year, we will publish 1 post at a respected Habrahabr on fundraising for charitable needs.

So, this year our post is dedicated to the charitable project “Vanechka” and in particular the subproject “Our children”.

“Vanechka” is a project of supporting foster families since 2009.

The essence of the project is that people who allow themselves to ever accept a child into the family, with the help of this project, they ripen to concrete actions to arrange children in the family and receive legal and public support. The main resource of the project is the First in Russia Base of potential adoptive parents created by the Vanechka team.

“Our Children” is a project to help orphans with serious illnesses who will be happy to receive our support. This is a proven and honest organization: vanechka.ru , charter , media library .

More than half of the children in orphanages are now children with disabilities and disabilities. This means that society should concentrate on helping precisely this, the most vulnerable category of children. Make the quality of their life better, and then, if possible, find their parents. The task is to give an orphan child with special needs maximum opportunities, as if he had parents.

All funds raised are mainly used for medicines, transportation, supplies, salaries for nannies and medical mentors.

Since the project still needs financial assistance, we decided to send a letter to our clients and partners asking them to help the project. Since charity is not our profile, we did not really hope that we could collect any money, but to our surprise, we received feedback from various companies and individuals, for which we thank them very much!

You can participate in a charity event, as an individual, and as a legal entity. The amount of the donation does not matter, it may even be 100 rubles. After all, for someone, 100 rubles is just a cup of coffee, and for others - diapers or life-saving medications.
