Intel AI Academy - New Year's gift for all developers of AI
Artificial intelligence has long ceased to be associated exclusively with supercomputers and mainframes, now it is an area of professional (or not) the interests of tens of thousands of people around the world. Realizing the importance of the task, Intel, through the Intel Developer Zone portal, has created a special section of the Intel AI Academy , designed to help novice and experienced developers in the field of Deep Learning, computer vision and other aspects of AI. Allow me to conduct a small tour of the resource to show how it can be useful to you.
Particular attention is paid to the training of novice programmers. In the section for beginners you will find articles of the most general order on various aspects of AI. Check out the training courses: here you can find short videos introducing various development tools: TensorFlow, Caffe, Theano, and weighty self-study courses designed for 12 weeks - on machine learning and in- depth training .
You can take courses immediately, without registering with memorization and recognition of your face. ')
By the way, the “Join for free” button on the start page is nothing more than an invitation to leave your e-mail to receive thematic mailings: the section is expanding, it’s hard to keep track of all the updates and news “manually”.
Help for beginners is not limited to cartoons. All students should familiarize themselves with the program Intel AI DevCloud . For 4 weeks, any member of the Intel AI Academy can access a powerful server farm based on the most advanced Intel Xeon Scalable servers with optimized Intel frameworks and AI tools. Anyone can join the social network for the developers of Mesh , where a group has been created for communication, exchange of experience and demonstration of results. Intel is also developing "offline" educational activities based on academic institutions around the world - details can be found on the student page .
The next section of the Intel AI Academy is dedicated to the frameworks and libraries used in the development of AI applications. On one page are links to download pages, a description of the products, as well as information about optimizations for the capabilities of Intel processors for software such as neon, TensorFlow, Caffe, Theano, BigDL, MXNet.
The special page provides links to Intel-developed tools and libraries that can be used for AI needs.
And, finally, as it should be for a resource for developers, Intel AI Academy has an extensive library of articles on AI topics in various formats: training materials, sample code, reviews for beginners, and so on, with search and rubricator. Now we are carefully looking at it for translation into Russian and publishing the most interesting articles in our blog. Well, here I want to offer a small list for those who want to read right now (in English).
Developing applications using AI is an interesting and necessary business. And be sure: if you take up this topic, Intel will surely find you will always help you!
