Apple Expanded Freedom

The Apple Insider blog at the end of the week shared interesting information about two new Apple developments, each of which is aimed at giving the user more freedom of movement.

The first of them is framed only in the form of documentation for a patent application, but now it is of great interest. We are talking about a new docking station for iPods, with which the recharging of batteries and the transfer of data to the device will occur without wires .

Several variants of this technology are similar in one and the main thing: the player and the station can be located relative to each other almost as you like, since there is no connector for connection. Of course, it must be admitted that this innovation simplifies the process of connecting a device with a computer slightly, but here’s the “coolness” of such a decision not to take.

The second news is sure to please those Apple brand lovers who want to get the maximum performance and functionality in the case of the minimum size and weight. The attention of engineers in Cupertino again drew the class of sub-laptops, in which the company was once a pioneer with its PowerBook 100 and its worthy descendants.

The presentation of the new ultra-portable model in the MacBook lineup should be expected in the very near future. Retaining all the features available to the owner of a full-sized laptop, it will have the dimensions of the sheet A5 (perhaps a little thicker and heavier). The main goal for it will be the markets of Japan and Korea, where compact high-performance electronics are especially appreciated.
