haiku-os.org Slashdotted

After posting on slashdot.org links to the Haiku Tech Talk video, haiku-os.org began to open slowly, and the photo album was simply overloaded and generated a DBMS error. When the administrators noticed this and then looked at the visitor statistics, they were very surprised. The site produced 10,000 hits in less than 12 hours.

PS: By the way, this is the first publication on Haiku on from slashdot.org since the publication of Haiku on WalterCon 2005 (June 29, 2005).
