What is GDG?

This is a non-profit IT community based on Google’s technologies for developers — for Android, Maps, App Engine, Chrome, Web Toolkit, Google Plus, and others.

This is an international conference for developers, held annually by the GDG Nizhny Novgorod community in one of the most beautiful cities in Russia - Nizhny Novgorod.

This grand event will take place within the walls of the Nizhny Novgorod University. N.I. Lobachevsky and will bring together a huge number of developers and other IT-specialists!

This year the conference will be truly international , within its framework there will be presentations by speakers from the Google Developers Group community from different countries of the world - Russia, Great Britain, India, Poland, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine ... Here are some of them:

• Alexey Korovyansky (Mobilatorium, Omsk, Russia) - Google Developer Expert, actively promoting VR / AR capabilities among mobile developers. Founder of the GDG community in Omsk. At the moment, Alexey is organizing the Mobilatorium (creative VR / AR laboratory) and is developing innovative VR / AR projects together with the Effective team.
• Alexey Rybakov (DataArt, Kharkov, Ukraine) - Senior Software Engineer, Technical Evangelist DataArt, organizer of GDG Kharkiv-Center, conference speaker at GDG DevFest, Droidcon, Mobius, IT NonStop, IT Talk. For more than 12 years he was engaged in programming games for various mobile systems (from Palm OS, Windows CE to iOS)
• Milos Marinkovic (CounterPath, Novi Sad, Serbia) - Developer. Organizer GDG Novi Sad. Interests: Android, Modern Web, IoT. Loves to learn new things about innovation and programming. In his free time he works with various opensource projects.
• Resul Kaner Yildirim (InnovationBox, Istanbul, Turkey) - Google Developer Expert, UX designer and technological geek. Professional in UX, IoT and Android. Led GDG Istanbul since 2013, organizes, participates and speaks at various events, such as Droidcon, GDG DevFest and so on.

Speakers will make presentations on Android, Web, Firebase, Google Cloud, VR / AR, IoT, Kotlin (for example, Android Auto, Instant Apps, Android Things, ARCore, Google Assistant will be mentioned), as well as neural networks and machine learning.
