Exantech Code Jam: Hacktoberfest 2017
We all use open source in one way or another in our work, be it an IDE or a browser, system utilities, or even scripts on sites. The essence and beauty of open-source is that everyone can contribute to such projects. However, in reality, not everyone knows how to do it correctly or is simply afraid to start.
We and our technology lab Exantech support open source and want to make participation in it more popular among developers.
On October 28, in the Moscow Klyuche, we will hold our Code Jam as part of Hacktoberfest, the annual online open source programming festival from Digital Ocean.

The rules for participating in Hacktoberfest are very simple: you need to find interesting projects on GitHub and open at least 4 pull requests in October. For this you will get nice bonuses - T-shirt and stickers, but most importantly - your name will go down in history of the development of your favorite application.
We will begin our Code Jam with presentations of open source projects from their active participants and authors. Projects are very different: from OpenBSD to smart contracts and machine learning frameworks. Thanks to the open code, you can take part in any of them right at the meeting, simply by sending your pull requests to them!
After the presentations you will have lunch, and then - a few hours of productive and pleasant development in a pleasant company. All this time on the site will be experienced developers from EXANTE and speakers - you can at any time ask them questions and discuss your ideas with them. At the end of the day we will reward active participants with useful prizes.
To participate in the Exantech Code Jam, register for the TimePad and at the Hacktoberfest itself. Of course, you can not wait for the meeting and start working on the code right now, and on Saturday solemnly finish and send the prepared pull requests.
