About open financial data

If you are not very familiar with the topic of open financial data, or are not familiar at all - this should not stop you.

Recently, we held several events at once where we told where to look for open financial data, what projects can be created for them and why all this is good and useful. To immerse yourself in the topic, we recommend that you look at the recordings of the webinars of Ivan Begtin, director of the Infocultural autonomous non-profit organization, where he talks in detail about the sources of open financial data: here and here .

In addition, mentors will assist the hakaton participants throughout the day. About them our next item.

About mentors

Among the hackathon mentors are those who have real practical experience in working with open financial data. With them you can discuss the idea, architecture and logic of the future project. They will tell you where to get the data and what tools to process it, how clear and interesting it is to visualize.

We will also have representatives from the Ministry of Finance of Russia and its subordinate services. They will answer methodological questions and help you correctly use and interpret open data in a project.
