Kettle Questions

Dear podcasters and eavesdroppers! Do not kick in the head, because I am a kettle and ask stupid questions.
For me it is important, otherwise I would not ask.

I listened here some time ago to the creativity written in the garage of a long-broken group, in whom I played and wrote poetry. And the question arose: is it ethical to call a podcast a certain music file, in which there is no news, but only a song?
Is it accepted in the podcasters community to use technology for musical compositions?
Is it normal to throw such a song on a podcast site and point to the links to it?

And - for that matter - if it is suddenly acceptable (so to “promote” your creations) - then which Russian-language resource is best to do? I have just seen www.rpod.ru
