MBLTdev 2017 is near: program on hardcore

Hi, Habr! We are at the finish line. Rolled out the full program of the conference MBLTdev 2017 mobile developers. What to expect, who to listen, what to do - all under the cut.

MBLTdev is a conference with a four-year history, which annually brings together over 600 representatives of mobile development on its site. This year, 20 experienced Senior developers, who are fastidious but fair, are responsible for the quality of the program. Zac Sweers, Uber
The Uber app is used by millions of people around the world, updates are constantly being released, and with them mistakes that need to be quickly fixed. Zac will tell you how the Uber team uses code generation to troubleshoot and boilerplate the code. Consider the possibilities of automation, examples of libraries and other useful features.

Ivan Škorić, PSPDFKit
When animating UI elements, the Android platform provides various events such as start, cancel, stop, and so on. Consider transferring animation logic to sequential calls to RxJava, making the entire process “reactive” with improved syntax and control flow control.

Victor Starikov, VoltMobi
Audio Unit Extension is a technology introduced in iOS 9. It allows you to create DSP modules that convert and create audio signals. Signals are used in various applications. For example, you can make a synthesizer, drum machine, or sound effect, and plug it into the Garage Band. Together with Victor we will study the possibilities of sound extensions, the way they are created and used.

Makar Stetsenko Silicon Valley Insight
GraphQL is slowly but surely gaining popularity among developers. Initially, he was rejected, then interested, and today, all at once began to study and write articles about him.
Makar will tell you about the minimum necessary to start working with GraphQL. Will dispel the myths associated with it and teach you to use it in native applications written in Swift and Kotlin.

A total of 25 speakers from Uber, Fyusion, Sharewire, Tinkoff, PSPDFKit, Agoda, Sberbank, Google and other companies will speak at the conference. Among the main topics:

This year's MBLTdev will have discussion zones. Yes, we took into account all feedbacks and allocated a place to communicate with the speakers. You can ask experts in an informal setting and share your own ideas and experiences.

During lunch, you will meet colleagues, discuss reports and exchange contacts. We do not guarantee that the cute girl from the HR department will not try to entice you. Maybe that's why you came? :)

You will have the opportunity to discuss the bugs, features and latest platform updates. You will learn about the work processes of other IT-companies, you will definitely find something to offer "yours". In general, you yourself will find out with whom and how to communicate, from our side a platform is ready for this.

Practice

At MBLTdev 2017 there will be CodeLabs . Grab a laptop, it is useful for tasks.

The iOS session was prepared by the CocoaHeads team. Learn about techniques such as Optional, Guard Let, Struct and Value, Protocol Extension. After theory, integrate the approaches and refactor the code. There will also be tasks for finding errors in the finished application. The fastest will receive prizes.

Zviad Kardava from Google will not only make a report, but also conduct CodeLabs on Android development. To begin, listen to his report, and then immerse yourself in the use of Flutter in practice.

Activities

You will also receive quizzes on Android development from e-Legion and iOS development from CocoaHeads. Answer questions in real time and compete with your friends and other rivals. The most agile and fast will get cool prizes.
