Kotlin in Action released in Russian
The publishing house DMK Press has released a Russian translation of the book Kotlin in Action :
The book is intended for programmers with Java development experience and talks about all the features of the Kotlin language for development under JVM and Android. It begins with an overview of the main features of the language and then reveals its most interesting distinctive aspects, such as support for creating high-level abstractions and domain-specific languages. We also pay a lot of attention to the interaction of Kotlin with Java and its implementation in existing projects.
The authors of the book are my colleague Svetlana Isakova and I; We have both been involved in the development of Kotlin for many years. The translator wrote the Russian text of the book, but we read it to make sure that no technical inaccuracies were made in the translation.
