At the same place, at the same time: we are waiting for you at the new meeting of Android developers in the LC

On September 16, the Moscow office of Kaspersky Lab will host the second meeting of the MOSDROID community for all those who are passionate about mobile development. And if for the first time we talked about the tools of Android programmers ( Groovy , Kotlin and CodeReview Automation ), then this time we will talk about the insides of the operating system - from storing sensitive information by means of the system to interprocess communication.

By the way, the share of the green robot in the market of mobile devices is very close to 90%. This means that Android is installed on about nine out of ten smartphones sold. In general, it's time to cut cool software and listen to our reports:

● In the first speech, Anton Dudakov from Yandex will tell “How to establish interaction between applications” - why do you need it at all, and what methods are provided for this in the OS. Anton will explain in detail how these mechanisms are arranged from the inside, how they work at the system level, and draw conclusions about the limitations of each and the purposes for which this or that tool is suitable.

● “Keep secrets right” - our second speaker Artyom Kulakov from REDMADROBOT called his report. Most Android developers are faced with the problems of safe storage of classified information, but, alas, not all of them correctly solve. As a result, Google Play is filled with applications that lack security as a class. Artyom will analyze typical developer errors and consider solutions to problems.



● Well, the third final report of our program is “A View from the Sandbox” by Kirill Filimonov from Mail.Ru Group. He will talk about the work of the Android application in the context of the operating system and its interaction with system services, as well as show everything that is hidden behind the methods of the SDK.
