Full-time studies in universities

Let's start the broadcast from our “locomotives” - five educational projects launched on the basis of the leading technical universities of Russia: Moscow State University, Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, MEPI and SPbPU. Students of these universities can choose their specialization in IT: a semi-annual or two-year program.

How it works

Studying in projects can university students. Now in five universities 67 disciplines operate. The recruitment takes place twice a year: in September and in February. There are currently 1,400 students on the stream. The teachers are employees of the Mail.Ru Group, 200 practicing professionals who are taught to solve real problems. In the final successful students waiting for the certificate Mail.Ru Group and an internship with the possibility of employment.

Mitapas and office conferences

Small meetings for two or three speeches and larger conferences are the most common experience sharing events that take place at the Mail.Ru Group office. In 2016, we spent more than 60 meetings. Topics: mobile development (we organize Android Devs Meetup, we host CocoaHeads), Data science, UX (UX-environment, UX-research), programming languages ​​(community meetings Moscow.Python, Go, MoscowJS, YAPS). In 2017, it is too early to sum up, but the dynamics do not change!

Lectures and workshops online - Tehnostrim channel

Technostrim is our educational YouTube channel. Here we post videos of speeches and lectures of many training courses taught in educational projects. Today, the channel has more than 500 videos from classes, workshops, meetings and special projects, such as Oh My Code.

Online courses on leading MOOC platforms

For those who cannot study in our five main face-to-face projects, we organized online courses on the Stepik.org and Coursera platforms. They are held in the form of video lectures and practical tasks. Some materials are available for free, and for some you will need to pay separately.

Online championships for professionals

Someone mistakenly believes that championships are just contests. But at the same time, it is an effective motivator for self-education. To participate in the championship, it is not enough to know how to program - you need to do it better than others. It is necessary to know and be able to apply the approaches that are most beneficial in the current situation, to be inventive. And without learning and practicing this, it cannot be developed in oneself.

Every year we hold five championships: the Russian Code Cup , the Russian AI Cup , the Machine Learning Boot Camp , the Russian Design Cup and the Russian Crypto Cup . This year they were joined by HighLoadCup .

Schoolchildren - choice of profession and admission

Tekhnokubok programming Olympiad allows you to get additional points on computer science for admission. Held in partnership with MGTU them. Bauman and MIPT on the Codeforces platform. Students of 8-11 classes can take part in it.
