Promsvyazbank opened accepting applications for the hackathon PSB SAMARA BATTLE , and the Technoserv company decided to support the event and act as its technology partner.

Hakaton will be held in Samara from September 30 to October 1. His goal is to find the best developers, designers and even marketers in order to develop a prototype of a new product or solution to one of the topics relevant to Promsvyazbank. Below we look at each topic from the point of view of which prototypes of which products can be developed within the framework of the hackathon, as well as what to prepare for and what to expect from the event.

What topics are interesting

Topic 1. Gamification

Any solutions that in the game format help the client to better understand the brand, products and stocks of the bank, for example, while waiting in a branch line. The idea may be to launch some kind of viral internet game.

Topic 2. Proactive financial assistant

Any products that help people plan and control the state of their personal, family finances and investments, achieve personal and family financial goals. A distinctive feature of a proactive financial assistant should be the possibility of self-study based on analyzing customer behavior and receiving feedback from users. Both the ideas that solve the problems proposed in the subject are interesting, as well as any ideas that expand the boundaries of a personal financial assistant in the classical sense.

Topic 3. Big data and artificial intelligence

Any products based on big data technology and artificial intelligence aimed at: increasing sales of banking products (deposits, loans, cards, payments, transfers), providing personalized offers, improving the quality of banking services, retaining existing customers.

Topic 4. Instant payments and transfers

Any products that allow you to simplify and speed up making payments for goods and services or transfers to each other. New ways of payments and transfers. Any solutions that allow the customer to solve his regular payment tasks in the best way possible.

Topic 5. Helper gadgets for business

Any products for portable devices (smartphone, tablet, smart watches, GPS tracker, etc.), which will be assistants for solving some business problems of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Topic 6. Opening an account for legal entities

Any products / services that will solve the problem of attracting new customers, including assistance in choosing a service program (tariff).

7th, bonus theme! “Hack Internet Bank”

Promsvyazbank announced a special nomination “Hack Internet Bank”. If there is a specialist who can find a hole in the Internet bank in the framework of the hackathon, he will receive a prize of 100,000 rubles.

Prize fund

The total prize fund is 600,000 rubles. Applications are accepted both from teams and from individual participants, from which teams will be formed.

Awarding prizes to authors of the best ideas and prototypes is not the only goal of the bank. Promsvyazbank is looking for employees for development centers in Samara and Tolyatti, and the hackathon is an excellent tool for hunting. Stages

Hackathon will be held in two stages. In the framework of the first stage, which will last until September 17, it will be necessary to submit an application and describe the idea of ​​a banking product on one of the proposed topics. According to its results, the best applications will be selected and up to 20 teams will be formed, which will reach the final of the hackathon, which will be held from September 30 to October 1 in Samara.
