Vim is my favorite editor. I started using it many years ago when I switched to
Linux . I liked it because I could edit small source files on my quad-core computer without having to wait long for it to open.
I can say with confidence that Vim is not a bad editor and very extensible, but this is not a reason to say that Vim is suitable for everyone, since it is a matter of taste. When using Atom or Code, I often get stuck, sometimes they last several minutes.
What do you think, how much memory does the editor need to open the next C file?')
#include <stdio.h>
int main() {
printf("Hello, world!\n");
}
