In November 2016, we thought about how to become an unusual partner of the industry conference - to be remembered by the participants, but not limited to the booth and distribution of branded stickers and other souvenirs, for which participants bypass the exhibition area at any event. For Highload 2016, we then invented a small intellectual quest - we installed a computer on the stand, on which it was necessary to fix the broken server. Everyone liked it, and we began to think further. At the afterparty Codefest in Novosibirsk in April, we invented and conducted the Deadliner windbreaker - it was an alternative get-together where the participants had an important mission: the teams rescued the falling plane. Today we offer to save his habrasoobschestvu.



So, the conditions of the problem:
The plane is in distress - minor problems in the right engine. Time is short (fuel is running out), passengers are running around and making noise, the situation is tense.
The plane is somewhere in the area of ​​Novosibirsk (there are coordinates), but avionics broke down, and it is not very clear what, where and how. The antenna has broken, communication within a radius of 10 km of GPS does not work. Where to fly - it is not clear, the map does not show the card. Coordinates of airports are only on the main diskette, the diskette was removed, a dump was taken, but nothing is clear there. While there is fuel, you need to urgently decipher where to fly!
