GeekUniversity opens a set of students to the department of Python-development

In our online university for programmers opened a new faculty. Now, at GeekUniversity, students will be able to master Python-development at the Middle-level and is guaranteed to start a career immediately after training.

GeekUniversity is a joint educational project of the Mail.Ru Group and the IT-portal GeekBrains. The curriculum and special courses for the faculty are developed by Avito, Alfa Bank, MTS, Tinkoff, DeliveryClub.

In one year, students create 2 independent and 2 team projects. Progress will be supervised by a mentor. After training graduates are able to:

• build sites on HTML, CSS, Bootstrap;
• create sites on the Django framework;
• Work in a team of methodologies for the development of Agile and Scrum;
• work with GIT;
• apply the principles of OOP in work;
• use design patterns singleton, adapter, factory, dependency injection;
• successfully complete interviews and communicate with customers.

Anyone can enroll in GeekUniversity. The applicant must have basic programming skills: for admission, you must successfully pass the online testing on the GeekUniversity website. Those who do not cope with the test, will be able to get the missing knowledge in the preparatory courses of the university. The training program is designed for 350 academic hours, the intensity of classes - three or four lessons per week. Training is paid. Graduates receive a certificate confirming the acquired qualifications.
