Cpp ❤️ Mobile

Five years hid from DevDay. They were afraid that the meetings were held in Novosibirsk, and the public - all over Russia and not only. But, it seems, the broadcast solves all problems, and the topic of the next DevDay is beautiful, that you can’t be silent about it.

DevDay are open meetings for sociable IT people. Usually we do not restrain in themes and formats - from reports about testing automation to conversations on afterparty (and not only) about RxJava . We collect an average of 100 participants and try to meet every month. During the reports, we write a video, and then we post it in open access .

The next event will be special. For several reasons.

§ Hardcore theme

We will tell you how C ++ developers start writing under mobile phones. Let's analyze the topic from three sides: find out why we should look at mobile phones → let's see how to write code under them → we will discuss how to migrate and whether it is necessary at all.

§ Program

DevDay will be held on August 11th.
18:30 - Prepati with tea, coffee and a guided tour.
19:00 - Kirill Kazakov (chief for mobile phones in 2GIS) with mobile trends.
19:30 - Seryoga Khomyakov (last for Android) with Qt at 2GIS.
20:10 - Tyoma Kudzev (the last one for DevDay) with a quartet. ↓
20:50 - After-party with beer and pizza.

§ A flat

This is such a discussion format where experts and participants share their opinions with each other. Opinions are often (radically) different. But this is good, because the picture is complete and balanced. What we need. We will discuss with you whether C ++ developers should switch to mobile phones, how to do it, and why?

Abstracts can be viewed on devday.ru , there is a list of participants .
By the way, according to my conference observations, a good motivator is to meet a classmate or a former colleague at the conference.

What's next? We decided to come in person - register - we will remind you of the meeting. We stopped at the broadcast - also register - we will send you a link to the video.

See you on DevDay!
