Welcome to Tarantool Meetup August 10th

Hello! On August 10, 2017, we invite architects and developers to the Moscow office of the Mail.Ru Group, where Tarantool Meetup will take place, dedicated to the architecture and implementation of corporate microservices using Tarantool. We will share with you our approaches to the design of solutions and show, using the example of two simple services, how to solve two typical tasks in two hours. And traditionally there will be many interesting technical discussions on various topics! And if you take a laptop with Docker installed with you, you will be able to touch it yourself. Read the program under the cut.

17: 00-17: 15. Gather guests, welcome coffee.

17: 15-17: 30. Denis Anikin. "Overview of Tarantool in-memory Data Grid."
')
Architectural overview of Tarantool as a full-fledged in-memory Data Grid. This report will be of particular interest to architects, it will consider many architectural patterns and their real use. Also, the listener learns about the best and worst practices.

17: 30-18: 00. Modern architecture of digital microservices.

18: 00-18: 15. Break.

18: 15-19: 45. We do microservices together: authorization, bank statement.

19: 45-20: 15 Vasily Soshnikov. "We load, we check."

Modern Digital architecture is five levels. Is it a lot? I think that a lot and once came to the conclusion that all these 5 levels can replace only 2 levels. Web proxy and database proxy can be connected to the first level. Application server, caching system and DBMS are connected to the second level. Only two levels! But what does it give? Less levels - less resources, less dependencies, and, as a bonus, - high performance.

So what will I tell you and what will you learn? I will share the experience of creating such microservices using NGINX and DBMS Tarantool. We will learn how to scale them using clustering (sharding or / and replication). I highly recommend grabbing your laptops, for there will be a lot of practice!

Participation in the mitap is free, but you need to register . Address: Leningradsky pr-t, 39, p. 79.
