Science Slam Digital report July 7

On July 7, Science Slam Digital gathered more than 600 viewers in our office, and the number of broadcast views on Odnoklassniki and VKontakte social networks exceeded 420 thousand. The Science Slam format originated in Germany seven years ago to popularize scientific achievements among ordinary people. It consists of a series of scientific lectures given by young scientists. The report of the participant should be short (10 minutes), accessible and informative. The winner of the slam is determined by determining the audience’s applause loudness with a noise meter.

We really liked this format, and we wanted to conduct our Science Slam, only digital, to talk about technology simply and clearly. About what is happening inside the company and what employees are doing. Six developers told the guests and viewers of the broadcast that can be determined by mail without opening the letters themselves; how to find out the age of a person in social networks, even if it is not specified; what trends in media consumption can be identified now and how they affect the perception of information; how to modify a social network that is used by 100 million people so that nothing breaks in them.
