Russia vs Mexico: a historic robots football game driven by fans via Twitter

The robots match, under the control of Russian and Mexican Twitter users, will begin today, at 15:00 Moscow time, three hours before the start of the official match between the national teams in the Confederations Cup. Twitterball is organized by Innopolis University and Trick Company as part of the All-Russian Robotic Olympiad.

To control the robot, you need to write a message with the #ConfedCup tag and specify the team (Rus / Mex) and the command for the robot through the spaces. The register and punctuation marks are not taken into account. Example: “ Rus go! #ConfedCup ”

go - advance 30 centimeters
back - movement back 30 centimeters
left - turn left 90 degrees
right - turn right 90 degrees
turn - turn 180 degrees

A special algorithm analyzes messages on Twitter every 5 seconds and orders robots to execute the most popular command during this interval. Fans will have to act collectively and deliberately.
