Webinar: How will targeted cyber attacks develop?

There is one point to which we constantly pay attention: malware is constantly evolving. And they do it quickly. More precisely, attacks themselves develop, especially targeted attacks.

As noted by Verizon experts in their 2017 Data Breach Investigations Report , malware was used in 51% of cases, resulting in data leakage (it appears in the report as “confirmed data disclosure to an unauthorized person”). But you can look at this data from the other side: in almost half of the cases of security breaches , malware was NOT used , and the emphasis was on improved hacking techniques.

In other words, a traditional antivirus turns out to be a useless tool against such attacks, since they do not participate in malware.

Perhaps the next generation of targeted attacks will be less likely to use malware as such, and the attacks themselves will become more individual, adapted to a specific victim. Next-generation security solutions with advanced protection against unknown threats using contextual analysis will become even more important in the fight against such attacks.

To get acquainted with a complete analysis of the future of targeted cyber attacks, we offer you a webinar recording, which was recently conducted by Luis Corrons, Technical Director of the PandaLabs Anti-Virus Lab. *
