New plug-in for Sennheiser headsets and free upgrade to 3CX v15.5

Sennheiser 3CX Client Plugin

We are introducing the new plug-in for the operation of the 3CX software client for Windows with headsets and speakerphones by the well-known German company Sennheiser. The development of the 3CX plug-in and Sennheiser worked together, so it will be officially supported for all versions of the 3CX client, starting with v15. At the next update of the model range of headsets or the client, the plugin will be jointly tested and updated.

Sennheiser plugin features

• Automatic pickup (EHS technology - remote electronic hook switching) from a 3CX client
• Full headset sftphone control - answer / end a call, adjust volume and mute the microphone
• Simultaneous support for Skype for Business / Microsoft Lync and 3CX client

System requirements

• Windows 7 - 10 (32 and 64 bit)
• Installed .Net framework 4.5.1 and higher
• Installed client 3CX v15 and higher
• Any edition of 3CX, including free, not lower than v15.

The program of free updates for older versions of 3CX Phone System

After the release of 3CX v15.5, we strive to ensure that as many users as possible get the benefits of the new version. We understand that in many IT companies budgets are limited. Sometimes it is difficult for management to explain the need for updating, because many of the advantages of the new version are on the server side and not so obvious to ordinary users - but they fundamentally simplify the life of the system administrator or integrator partner.

Therefore, we have developed a program for free upgrade of all perpetual 3CX licenses of previous versions to the current version 15.5!

The essence of the proposal:

• The perpetual 3CX license of any outdated version is free of charge changed to the 3CX v15.5 annual license of the same edition and capacity. For example, if you have a 3CX 64 Pro v12 license, we will exchange it for you at 64 Pro v15.5 Annual (for 1 year)
• After a year, you can pay a one-year subscription and use the new system further, switch to a perpetual license, or stop using the system
• The program is valid until September 30, 2017.

An interesting usage scenario: if you have several outdated licenses, and one of them is not used or is used on a non-critical site, you can upgrade this unused license. So you can see the features and benefits of the new version and, at the same time, test the stability of the system. Then you can switch to the new version and at the responsible sites.

We also take this opportunity to inform you that from September 1, 2017, support for 3CX Phone System v14 , web and video conferencing Webmeeting v14, and support for compatibility of 3CX new clients (for all platforms) with 3CX v14 server will cease.
