NTT Com announced the creation of the world's first fully software-defined network
The provider of communications services NTT Communications Corp announced that it is launching the world's largest software-defined network (SDN), which covers more than 190 countries. According to the company's representatives, SD-WAN Service Portfolio is “the first 100% SDN in the world”, which will provide high-performance SD-WAN services for companies of various sizes.

The essence of SD-WAN is to create a single virtual network fabric consisting of secure overlay connections over physical connections, which can be dedicated channels, low-cost Internet channels, or even LTE.
