Each of the operators increases the number of customers - though not at an equal pace. According to analyst iKS-Consulting Konstantin Ankilov, in terms of growth in subscriber base, STREAM seriously lost to competitors in the second half of the year. It increased only 20%, while AKADO - 75%, and Corbina Telecom - 100%. The expert noted at the same time that, in absolute values, the number of connected “STREAM” is comparable to the indicators of connections of other operators of the “four”. One way or another, all operators can now grow on the market - at least, by luring dial-up subscribers to their side. According to some data, even more than one third of the “modem” Internet users in Moscow are about 600 thousand households. At the same time, half of them are completely satisfied with the quality of access, and are not going to turn to more advanced technologies. But a quarter of dialupers dream of a better Internet connection - they dream, but they still don’t see the technical possibility to get it (the phone is compact, there are no home networks in the area, etc.).

And for the Moscow broadband operators this quarter - 150-170 thousand users - almost guaranteed customers, you just need to be able to attract them. The vice-president of Corbina Telecom, Dmitry Malov, estimates the potential of the segment at least at $ 36 million per year.
