From today Raiffeisenbank begins its broadcasting on Habrahabr. Over the past 2-3 years, we have done a lot in terms of internal transformations, the launch and implementation of IT projects. And we have something to talk about.
First, a few words about history.
Raiffeisenbank has been operating in the Russian market for over 20 years, and today we are the largest foreign banking group in Russia. In 2016, the bank began to actively support startups in the field of fintech. We work, including with the funds of Skolkovo and RVK. Raiffeisenbank became a partner of the federal startup accelerator GenerationS (conducted by RVC) and established a special nomination of the Raiffeisen Award for participants developing products and solutions for the financial industry. This year we conducted the first GetApp hackathon . As it was, you can see in the photo album and the reporting video .

To increase the reliability and availability of banking services, as well as for the development of banking systems, products and services, we use a wide range of technologies. For example, developers on platforms: Tomcat / RHEL7, Scala stack, IBM WAS / AIX, IIS / Win2012, AS400, IBM BPM / WPS, IBM ESB and write in Python, Kotlin, RPG, Swift, Java, C / C ++ and C # We use several platforms for storing and processing large-scale data and various structures: DB2, Oracle, SQL-server, PostgreSQL. For tasks related to Big Data, we use Hadoop. We also work on large industrial platforms such as Oracle Siebel, Misys, BankFusion Midas, TSYS Prime. Well, this year we are introducing Jira / Confluence / Bamboo / Bitbucket / SonarCube.
We believe in the culture and philosophy of Agile, actively apply the practices of SCRUM, Kanban, TDD, for the development of our teams we hold internal Java and .Net meetings every month, and to expand the horizons of IT and the bank as a whole, we regularly inform about the development of the market, new technologies and approaches to implementing solutions
