Completion of the 11th All-Russian Conference of IT & Security Forum

ITSF-2017

On May 26, the 11th All-Russian IT & Security Forum Conference was completed in Kazan. The conference was held at the Korston Hotel. The conference gathered more than 900 participants from 80 cities of Russia. At the conference 60 reports were heard, a large number of thematic stands were presented in the demo zone.


The format of the conference has already become familiar. Zero day - May 24 - the day of arrival of the guests, followed by two days of fruitful work of the conference.


For participants who were able to arrive on May 24, there was an opportunity to register and take part in two events to choose from “A sightseeing tour of the city of Kazan” or participate in a master class from the Academy of Information Systems company on the topic “Investigating Information Security Incidents”. Despite the fact that the announced master class still had the format of a regular presentation, it was truly useful and relevant for its participants. Thanks to not only AIS expert Zyuzin Mikhail , the speaker of the event, but also to the experienced participants of the session, a constructive discussion arose during the session, which made it possible to disassemble various nuances of the correct course of action when preparing a legally correct evidence base in investigating cybercrime.

Zero day ended with a welcome dinner from the organizers of the conference in the PETZOLD craft brewery.



And finally, on May 25, the grand opening of the conference took place in the huge Ballroom of the Korston Hotel.

At the opening of the conference, Rustam Nigmatullin , First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov , Artyom Asanov , Head of the Operational and Technological Block AK BARS Bank, Efim Rosenberg , First Deputy General Director OAO NIIAS, Chief Designer for Traffic Safety at the Russian Railways, Boris Shcherbakov , Vice President and General Manager, Dell EMC in Russia, and Victor Dyachkov , General New Director of JSC ICL - KPO VS ( link ).


One of the theses sounded by the speeches, which was supported in many other reports, sounded like a phrase from the well-known story: “In IT, one should not just go forward, but run as fast as possible - and this is only to avoid being the last. And to get ahead - you need to run even faster. "

Simultaneously with the plenary section on the first floor of the hotel in the Hall and in the Pushkin Hall, the conference's demo zones worked on an area of ​​more than 660 square meters and presented solutions by participating companies in the field of IT & Security.


In the demo zones, you could see the latest hardware and software systems from HPE, Dell EMC, CheckPoint, Cisco, IBM, NetApp, Huawei, Positive Technologies, S-Terra, VMWare, ForcePoint, Infowatch, Quest Software, Solar Security, GazInformservice, Laboratory Kaspersky, IXIA, AK BARS Bank, Entersys, LG, Simple Waters , as well as a large number of own developments of the organizing company ICL .


All the presented equipment could be “touched” and additional qualified explanations on the presented systems could be obtained from the experts.



The unusual decision for the conference by GazInformService to organize its demo zone certainly attracted a large number of people to it: on the first day of the conference, GIS offered to assemble a puzzle, getting its elements from girls dressed in the cosplay genre.



On the second day, GIS launched InstaPrinter at its booth, thus organizing promotions for the product Efros Config Inspector ( https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/configinspector/ )


Further work throughout the 2 days of the conference continued in 4 rooms. The reports were presented by representatives of leading companies - manufacturers of equipment, software and integrated solutions, the regulator in the field of information security - the representative of FSTEC of Russia, as well as independent experts in the following sections:

The innovation of the conference was the point “TATAR PRODUCT” for cashing points earned in the very successful official mobile app ITSF-2017 . Points were earned by participants in exchange for questioning and comments on reports and stands in the demo zone. Subsequently, these points could be exchanged for exclusive gifts from the conference organizers.




Well and traditionally, every workday ended with a stunning evening program. On the 25th of May, at the end of the first working day of the conference, it was a gala dinner at the Hermitage restaurant, which opened with a spectacular bike show, and the peak of which was the performance of the “Accident” rock band.




At the end of the second, final day of the conference, all participants gathered at the PASHMIR restaurant, where Georgia’s evening was held, the bright end of which was the MGZAVREBI group’s performance .



ICL has managed to organize a conference at the highest level for the 11th time. The scope of the conference, the generosity and hospitality of the organizers are consistently high, so I want to thank the organizers of the forum - ICL company , for its great contribution to the development of information technologies, for giving us the opportunity to see, get acquainted with the latest solutions, get the right contacts and a lot of useful information in the field of information technology and information security.
