Artificial intelligence and the fourth industrial revolution ( wiki ) have made significant progress over the past few years. Most of what can be used now is developed for commercial and industrial purposes, as you will see in the following posts. Research institutes and specialized companies are working to achieve the ultimate goal of creating AI (namely, creating artificial general intelligence), developing open platforms and exploring emerging ethical issues. There are also several companies that develop AI-products for end-users, we will consider them in the framework of this post.

Creating artificial intelligence is like climbing a tree, trying to reach the moon. Stable progress can be reported, right down to the top of the tree.

This is the first part of a series of three publications devoted to the landscape of the artificial intelligence industry, as well as companies and research institutes developing products that advance the knowledge of machine intelligence and consciousness.

Breaking a series of articles apart

Over the course of several weeks, I visited thousands of websites (over 6000+ links) in order to prepare as complete a list of the best AI products and the most promising companies in this field as possible.
