New version of the site extensions: we look forward to
The Firefox community froze in anticipation of a new version of the site addons.mozilla.org , called AMO v3 (Remora). Its launch was scheduled for February 12, then postponed for a day - and is still not available, although anyone can get acquainted with the preview .
This is what awaits us in the new version:
1) 7 localizations (Chinese, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Slovak and Spanish)
2) improved search and categorization, AJAX for preview
3) "socialization". Now decide which plug-in gets on the site, will not be a closed community, but the users themselves. For new plug-ins and themes, a sandbox will be created in which you can “dig” - and vote for your favorite “material”. The extensions available on the main site will be less, because Only the most popular ones will be posted there.

In addition, extensions that are not compatible with FF 1.5 and later will be removed.
