SMS and Email Notifications and Mailings in MyTaskHelper Online Designer

Good afternoon, dear colleagues, users and critics! The MyTaskHelper service provides its customers with features and functionality for implementing sms- and e-mail newsletters. In this article, we will detail (with examples and screenshots) the options for organizing only email notifications and newsletters . As for sms-newsletters and notifications, they are created in a similar way.


MTH customers have 2 options:


  1. Send automated messages for certain manipulations with a web form or database;
  2. Generate mailings both on the collected via web forms and on the imported customer or partner contact database.

Let me remind you that in all CMS in one way or another there is an opportunity to configure e-mail notifications of various types. But with the function of e-mail-mailing tugovato and in order to conduct effective and mass mailings, will have to start an account on any specialized site. But both options are implemented in MTH and even those who are registered in the system and fit into the limits of a free account (see the pricing page) will be able to fully appreciate the convenience of integrating both functions in one system.


Set up email notifications in MyTaskHelper


As practice shows, the function of email-notifications is claimed and used in almost any web form. And it does not matter, you created in MTH



convenient when both the person who filled out the module and the administrator of your website or database received the necessary email notification.


Setting up sending such notifications is easy. Further manipulations will be carried out with the previously created web form (see the topic , the web form itself can be tested here ).


So, go to the menu "Notifications" => "Emails" and get to the settings page (Fig. 1):

Obviously, all options can be selected at once, as well as several options. Moreover, the system allows you to uncheck all the checkboxes and will not be sent any notifications.


Almost all email notification templates have editing options.


Both the subject and the body of the notification template can be inserted from the record in the format | column name |.


For example, in the process of editing the first option, the available options will look like this (Fig. 2):

There can be one recipient of the message (by default, the e-mail to which the account is registered in MTH is pulled here), and several, and the message itself, which will be sent to the specified email addresses, is easily edited.


All other options have similar settings.


Create an email newsletter in MyTaskHelper


Before proceeding to the description of the mailing list creation algorithm, it is worth mentioning that there is an opportunity to send emails in MTH in several ways:


  1. By individually selected entries from the table (this is very convenient in the case when you want to send messages to a small number of users who are difficult to group by any attribute);
  2. According to a pre-formed report (for example, if there are tens of thousands of records in a table, you can easily generate a report, where the data in the "FULL" column begins with a specific letter, and then send a report on this report);
  3. Across the table.

Algorithm for creating a newsletter


In order to generate an email distribution to the contact database, it is enough that there is at least one field in the table with data with the “Email address” data type. Next, go to the "Notifications" menu => "Email list".


The first thing to do is add a new mailing template (Fig. 3).

Here we enter the following data:



Further, at our discretion, we create a letter template.


In order to personalize the newsletter , in MTH, you can use data from the same database. For example, if you have a column containing the full name of customers, feel free to paste into the template, for example, the following text:


Hello | Name |


We are glad to inform you that from April 5 to 15 (inclusive!) Discounts for products from the group “Everything for home decor” will be valid.


We will be glad to see you in our online store "Household trifles."


And at the last stage of creating a template, do not forget to specify the sender's e-mail and email address for customer feedback.


Professionals involved in email marketing know that well-thought-out and equally important regular user-received messages can significantly increase loyalty to the product and increase sales conversion.


In MTH, this problem is solved simply. For this, a functionality has been implemented for automated mailings . For example, to increase brand awareness and increase the number of purchases, you can create several templates:


  1. Letter of thanks sent the day after the customer received the ordered goods;
  2. A letter with new offers for those who made a purchase a week ago;
  3. Newsletter with promotional offers for those who made the order a month ago.

All that is needed for the organization of automated mailings is to add to the database a column with data types “Date” or “Date and time”, to which all subsequent actions will be associated.
