We invite you to the All-Russian Student Olympiad in Applied Informatics and Cyber Security at MEPhI
From April 21 to April 23, 2017 The Fifth All-Russian Student Olympiad in Applied Informatics and Cyber Security will be held at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. The Olympiad is held with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the FSTEC of Russia, and the UMO of universities on information security.
According to the annual tradition, the conference is sponsored by NPO Echelon and our experts are directly involved in the development of competitive tasks and are members of the jury.
Students of higher educational institutions aged from 18 to 25 years old at the time of the event, are invited to participate in the bachelor’s program, specialty and master’s programs in integrated training areas of 10.00.00 and 09.00.00, who are seriously interested in the protection of information and have passed the competitive selection place of study (up to 4 people from the university).

The Olympiad includes two rounds:
Round I (theoretical) - cryptology, software protection; protection of information from leakage through technical channels (tasks in acoustics, vibroacoustics, LF AEP, PEMIN);
Round II (practical) - web application security and malware mitigation
Winners, prize-winners and laureates of the Olympiad will be awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts from NRNU MEPhI and sponsors of the event, including Echelon Group, as well as receive privileges for admission to the magistracy in the areas of preparation for the faculty of Cybernetics and Information Security of the NRNU MEPI.
In addition to valuable and useful prizes, our company gives the winners certificates for free tuition on the 003 course . Penetration testing: hacker technology for information security auditing .
To participate in the Olympics, students need to:
1. Register before April 19, 2017 on the Olympiad website: http://olymp.mephi.ru/is2017/ and print an application for participation, which is automatically generated at the end of registration.
2. Register in the same period on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science: https://mon-vso.ru/events/90
3. Create an account at Sberbank (the participants who took 1, 2 and 3 places will receive a prize pool from the Ministry of Education and Science).
In addition, the representative of the university administration (contact person) needs to send to the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad ( olymp_is@mail.ru ) scanned versions of Applications for each participant representing the university signed by the rector / vice-rector / dean / director of the institute with the seal of the university until April 19, 2017. , faculty or institute. The originals of the applications are submitted by the participants of the Olympiad during the registration before the start of the full-time tour.
Foreign students can take part in the Olympics out of competition. End of registration for foreign students - 04/15/2017.
