Up to 90% of the traffic in the capital of Mongolia is controlled by CCTV systems or surveillance cameras. Violators receive fines by mail.

It is reported that the attacker arranged with several car owners, after which he deleted information about the fines imposed by him from the server. Authorities believe that the state has suffered significant damage, now the case is being considered in the Criminal Police Department for combating Internet crime.

This is not the first time that hackers attack the infrastructure fixing traffic violations. So in 2014, attackers disabled the camera system of photo-video recording of offenses in the Moscow region. During the attack, they managed to inject malicious software - as a result, 120 out of 144 cameras were out of order.

Every year there are more and more reports of cyber attacks on the information systems of government organizations and commercial companies. Today, industrial objects , transport and communications are increasingly under attack. In Russia, in response to increased threats, a state system for detecting, preventing, and eliminating the effects of computer attacks (GosSOPKA) was created. In 2015, departmental centers of the State Bureau of Emergency Situations appeared, in 2016 - corporate ones.

During the free webinar, Dmitry Kuznetsov, director of methodology and standardization at Positive Technologies, will talk about the practical experience of creating GOSOPKA centers, the requirements for them and the technical solutions used. The webinar is designed for professionals responsible for security in ministries, departments and at critical industrial sites.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 14:00 . To participate, you must register by clicking on the link: www.ptsecurity.com/ru-ru/research/webinar/188167/
