Report from OWASP Russia Meetup # 6: video and presentation of reports
Last week, in the Moscow office of Positive Technologies, the first meeting of the Russian branch of OWASP (the international community of information security specialists) was held in 2017. Today we publish a report on this mitap, as well as videos and presentations of reports presented there.
As the organizers stated in the announcement, the event should have interested interested security guards, as well as those who want to get closer to this area. And despite the fact that the meeting took place in the middle of the working day, the event aroused great interest among the audience. ')
OWASP mitap members gather at Positive Technologies office
Four reports got into the final program, including the story of Positive Technologies expert Konstantin Panarin. Below are videos and presentations of speeches:
Positive Technologies expert Konstantin Panarin made a presentation on technologies for analyzing binary code of applications. Konstantin spoke about the existing requirements for the code analysis process, the problems faced by researchers and developers, and also listed the popular tools that they use.

Specialists of Sberbank-Technologies JSC Evgeny Blashko and Yuri Shabalin demonstrated an attack on mobile devices using Activity Hijacking in Android.

Alexandra Svatikova from Odnoklassniki spoke about malicious extensions in the Chrome browser. Listeners learned about the threats that such software can carry and how to deal with it.

We thank the members of the OWASP community for an interesting event and will continue to support projects aimed at promoting information security initiatives.
