On October 19, RusCHI # 12 seminar (ACM SIGCHI's Russian branch) will be held in Moscow, where Ekaterina Sugak will talk about the interface design methodology, and Dmitry Filev - about the opening of UsabilityLab in the IT-Online Group. RusCHI has been known to many since 2001 as an informal community formed around the website Usability.ru and its forum.
There is another wave of interest to the topic of usability - from the side of developers of commercial sites and from seo-masters ( usability is the future of search engine optimization ). Information is not so much - there is a series of publications of translated materials (Nielsen) in the corresponding section on webmascon.com , the same usability.ru or a comprehensive blog with several authors gui.ru - Plato Dnipro, Andrei Sedelnikov, Dmitry Satin, Dmitry Pavlov, Ivan Degtyarenko, is a LiveJournal community dedicated to all aspects of User Centered Design.
