We have made for you a selection of the best (in our opinion) speeches from IT conferences, which we are going to attend in the first half of 2017 ( as promised ).


All this will be useful for web-programmers (PHP, Go, JS), QA and DevOps. Yes, the list contains quite a few conferences held in Russia and the CIS countries, but today, alas, there are not so many of them. So, if suddenly you know about some worthwhile event, add to our list in the comments.

A free conference for opensource developers will begin the day after tomorrow. To get to it, you do not even need to register. Held in Brussels since 2000, the original name is OSDEM (Open Source Developers European Meeting). Here is a great review of last year’s conference from the speaker from the MAPS.ME team.


Brian Brazil: Prometheus: A Next Generation Monitoring System

PHP UK Conference , London, UK, February 16–17

PHP UK Conference has been held since 2006 and was originally conceived as a core conference for the local PHP community, where developers could share knowledge and learn first-hand about the experience of colleagues and the latest industry achievements.
Here is a detailed story about PHP UK Conference 2016 by our developer Sasha Treger.


One of the most important topics covered at the event in 2016 was safety. Two reports were devoted to her:

The conference has been held since 2011. The main directions are web and mobile applications testing with Selenium WebDriver ,. However, other topics are also touched: test scaling, autotest monitoring systems, microservice architecture testing, etc. ... The target audience is testers and developers who are not indifferent to test automation (both professionals and beginners).


Oren Rubin: Statistical Element Locator



The report is devoted to a common problem faced by testers - the search for elements of reliability. It classifies search methods, analyzes the mistakes of people and machines, and finally, proposes a new way to search for elements and a set of skills necessary to overcome difficulties.
