Dear readers, we would like to discuss the issue of pre-installed software for VPS.

There are several categories of people who connect themselves to a VPS:

- the second would not interfere with the instruction and a little help;
- the third heard that VPS is cooler than virtual hosting, but they do not know how to approach it.

A solution that satisfies almost everyone is to make images with pre-installed software. For some, it will save time on installing LAMP, and for some it will help to start using the service without special knowledge. But how best to implement this provider?

Idea # 1 - should be the maximum number of images and modifications. These are 10 operating systems and for each, if possible, 8 sets of preinstalled software (and this is just at the start). But then system administrators will only update images every day with the release of new versions.

Idea # 2 - you need a minimum set of operating systems and software, the service should be used mainly by people with average knowledge. Such a position significantly narrows the coverage of potential customers of the provider.
