Haiku on SCaLE 5x - first day

The SCaLE 5x conference started this morning. It turns out to be quite interesting. Axel (Axel), Michael (Phipps), Jorge (Mare) and I (BGA) came to the exhibition hall in the early morning before the opening, to organize an exhibition stand. In this room, we have been allocated a 10 by 10 meter platform with a table and a pair of chairs. We installed a small desktop PC connected to a 20 inch monitor, a couple of IBM laptops running Haiku, as well as a Macbook Pro with Haiku running on a Parallels virtual machine. We are still waiting for an additional computer and projector that never arrived on time, as Michael’s luggage was sent to the wrong address. We have been present at the booth at about three o'clock and I believe that it was a good idea to come to this conference. Since the opening a large number of people have passed, many of whom stop and show interest in our stand. What pleases, most of them are geeks who are interested in new technologies. We hope that the majority of those interested will come to our first presentation tonight.
