If you have already participated in the international PHDays conference or watched its broadcasts, you probably noticed that the first day of the event traditionally ends with the performance of the Model for Assembly project: this is reading cyberpunk stories that took first places in the Hacked Future competition.
Read the history of the competition and find out the names of the winners of previous years in our past news (
2015 ,
2016 ). In short: we decided to press the book images of female detective stories with more modern stories that relate to life in the information space, with all its threats and heroes. Over the past two years, more than 300 stories have been submitted to the competition. Our finalists were highly appreciated by the “father of cyberpunk” Bruce Sterling, and right now the collection is being prepared for publication, which includes the winning stories of the “Hacked Future” 2015 and 2016.
Well, for the participants of the next, third contest, we have a surprise: the main judge in 2017 will be the famous Russian science fiction writer
Vadim Panov , winner of many literary awards, author of the cycles of books “Secret City”, “The Enclave” and “Hermeticon” close to cyberpunk.

So, we again invite everyone who can write to our competition!
The terms of participation
The “Hacked Future” competition contains stories that are dedicated to the difficult life of a person in the world of global communications and digital surrogates that are rapidly advancing on us, total surveillance and invisible cyber war, artificial intelligence and unusual social structures. The genre and subject of stories can be wider than the classic cyberpunk, but information technology should be a key element in the plot.

Send stories in .doc (MS Word) format to
cyberpunk@ptsecurity.com . Application deadline is
April 1, 2017 .
