Yandex mobile experience in three video courses: design, development, interfaces

Last year, Yandex conducted an educational pilot project called Mobilization. Our goal was for the participants to work in a real team and create a real product - and a mobile product. “Mobilization” united the School of Mobile Development, the School of Managers, the School of Mobile Design and the School of Interface Development.

We invited 126 students from 25 cities; 91 participants successfully completed the program . The first stage consisted of lectures, the second - of the very teamwork. Usually, students are surrounded by people of the same specialization as himself: managers study together with managers, designers - with designers, etc. But in reality you need at least one representative from several professions. Each team included students from different schools: a designer, a manager, and one or two developers.

Lectures to students were given by Yandex employees who face real-world tasks every day and make applications for millions of users. Especially for Habr's readers, we have compiled a complete course program based on the mobilization lectures.
