The advent of Core Guidelines and Guideline Support Library is an important event in the recent history of C ++. So far there are more questions than answers. Therefore, we decided to invite people to talk about GSL and the Core Guidelines first hand. The conference will be opened by Neil MacIntosh: principal software engineer at Microsoft, the Meintener of Microsoft's GSL implementation. He will tell you what GSL is, why it is needed, how it can be used, whether there are already projects that use it, what state different GSL implementations are, and so on. About Core Guidelines tell Sergey Zubkov: a developer from the company Morgan Stanley, who was directly involved in their creation.
Reports
At the conference, presentations on a variety of topics will be presented: boost, Qt, functional programming in C ++, coroutines, C ++ 17, multithreading, specifics of different compilers, changing the code of a large project and much more. If you also want to share
your pain with your experience, send a request to
talks@cpp-russia.ru . Requirements for the report: no more than 45 minutes, a technical report on C ++ and everything nearby. We will be happy to discuss any topic.

Master Classes
February 23, 1947 was founded the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Exactly 70 years later: on February 23, 2017, within the framework of the C ++ Russia conference, the day of master classes will be held for the first time. Within it, we present two master classes: Pavel Filonov “Continuous integration for C ++ developers” and Rainer Grimm “Embedded programming with modern C ++”. I will tell you more about each of these workshops later in a separate article. While I can only say that the master class is about six hours. You will need a laptop with a modern C ++ compiler installed (software requirements will be listed in the description). Tickets for this celebration of knowledge are sold separately, the ticket includes participation in the master class and meals.
Online tickets
When you buy an online ticket, you get an individual link and you can watch any report in real time. After the conference, this link will be available for two months video recording of reports.
