DevOpsDays 2017 Conference: Become a Rapporteur or Participant

Next year for the first time in our country the international conference DevOpsDays will be held. I think, more than once, here, and on other platforms, readers will see inviting articles and promotions. Therefore, I want to highlight the important points for which I am writing this note. Now the organizers are accepting reports and looking for sponsors. I ask the attention of all those who want to make a report or to conduct some kind of advertising campaign.

So, DevOpsDays is the largest international non-commercial community conference dedicated to current issues of software development, quality control, and security.

Naturally, I could not disregard this conference, since the subject matter of static code analysis harmoniously fits into the conference concept. Not for nothing, when we talk about PVS-Studio, we often use the #DevOps hashtag.

The conference will take place in Moscow. The target date is February 11, 2017. Apparently, the date has not yet been precisely determined, and that is why the site has not yet opened official registration. But you can already send a preliminary application for participation on the conference website.

If you have an interesting topic related to DevOps ( NOT ADVERTISING - this is very important ), the DevOpsDays website provides a form for registering your report. Send an application by reference , and the most interesting reports will be included in the program of the event.

Now there will definitely be a troll who will say that the PVS-Studio blog and non-advertising material are incompatible. This is not true, and those who have listened to our reports will confirm that our presentations at conferences are very entertaining and interesting. Our mission is to talk about what static code analysis is and how to use it when developing programs. At the same time, we naturally mention PVS-Studio. Agree, it would be strange to talk about static analysis using the example of Cppcheck and not to say anything about PVS-Studio. However, our goal is precisely to improve the quality of programs.
