New industrial 16-bit DSP processor for Ogg Vorbis format
At the moment, the Ogg Vorbis format is not widely spread among online music stores and portable players, but this does not mean that the format is not used in industry. Manufacturers of toys (for example talking dolls), voice warning systems and interactions use it because of its good quality at low bitrates. Another confirmation of this recognition was the release of the company VLSI Solution Oy of the first 16-bit DSP processor for playing the Ogg Vorbis VS1000 format with reduced power consumption compared to 32-bit analogs and high sound quality.
