New generation of Cambium Networks products: ePMP Elevate

Today, Cambium Networks has presented a new product of the ePMP line called ePMP Elevate. The product is cardinally different from all predecessors.

At the same time, the product is completely software, and allows you to install the ePMP Elevate firmware on the hardware of other vendors, such as Ubiquiti and Mikrotik. ePMP Elevate will support all wireless data transmission protocols inherent in the ePMP1000 / 2000 product line.

First of all, ePMP Elevate supports TDD (Time Division Duplex) protocol, which makes it possible to use all the main advantages of TDMA:

- GPS synchronization;
- Reuse of frequencies;
- Air Fairness (The whole sector does not feel the presence of one station with a low signal);

ePMP Elevate - are exclusively subscriber stations and cannot be switched to base station mode.

Also, after installing ePMP Elevate, all devices will receive such features that are familiar to users of ePMP1000 / 2000 products:

- Sector capacity (up to 120 subscriber stations);
- Excellent quality performance in noisy conditions;
- Bimforming support;
- A large number of network and management settings;
- The use of a unified system of management and monitoring in the network - cnMaestro;

All units can be flashed remotely. This means that in order to increase the quality of the network, the cost of installation / disassembly of the equipment will not be required.
